CS2 Jumpthrow Bind
A jumpthrow bind makes your grenade land in the exact same spot every time by jumping and releasing the throw at the same instant. It's the single most useful bind in Counter-Strike 2 for learning smoke and molotov line-ups — no more inconsistent throws from mistiming the jump.
The command
bind "v" "+jump;-attack;-jump"
That binds jumpthrow to V. Line up your throw, hold left-click, then press V — it jumps and releases at the peak automatically.
Opens the generator with a jumpthrow bind ready — change the key, copy it, or download a binds.cfg.
How to add it
- Enable the console in Settings → Game, then press ~ in-game.
- Paste the command and press Enter.
- To keep it forever, add the line to your autoexec so it loads every launch.
Left-click vs right-click nades
The command above works for standard (left-click) throws. If you want one bind that also covers right-click and both-click throws, use:
bind "v" "+jump;-attack;-attack2;-jump"
This releases both mouse buttons on the jump, so the same key works whether you're doing a normal, underhand, or combined throw.
Is it allowed?
Yes. A jumpthrow bind is a plain keybind — it only automates the timing of jump and release, which you could do by hand. It's allowed in official CS2 matchmaking and won't affect your account or trust factor. It's not a cheat and has nothing to do with VAC.
